Tracking unfunded time and unfilled shifts in the NDIS

Why are we tracking these issues? Find out here.

1,084 REPORTS

Every minute of work performed outside of
NDIS-funded hours means:

1 Unfunded wages for disability support workers

2 NDIS participant’s support plan not reflecting true funding requirements

Add your unfunded work time to the NDIS Tracker, and let’s add up

Every 8 hours we work, we get docked 30 minutes for a lunch break. I have 2 participants so I can't leave and I certainly don't have 30 minutes free to eat lunch! This has been going on since I started in July 2024. I work over 70 hours a fortnight. That 4.5 hours I'm not being paid for.. Reported on 06/04/2025, in Morphett Vale, South Australia.

Completed following shift. 1445-2130 / sleepover 2130 – 630 No one to do shift from sleepover in AM 630 – 930 no choice but to stay Went back for another sleepover 1445-2130 / sleepover 2130 – 630 Able to go home. Was not meant to do the first morning shift but had to and as a result I missed out on broken shift loading or a break – doing two sleepovers in a row we are penalised and not gaining financially we should be rewarded.
